We are a dedicated team which strives to provide success to our clients in regards to all their accountancy needs. Our team is very close-knit and ensures that a unified support is provided to you whenever you need it. With expertise covering all aspects of accountancy, taxation and business advisory services, we are well placed to take a holistic view to planning for the future as well as dealing with specific matters.

Collin Franklin FCCA

Director

Collin originally established the firm Franklins and has worked in practice for nearly forty years. He therefore has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of business, accounting, taxation and simply the ebbs and flows that come with running your own business. Collin has always been keen to develop and work with a strong team that aspires to possess a good spectrum of technical abilities, dedication and an enthusiasm for their own craft. Outside of work he is equally enthused about his large family and still strives in his sport!

Lisa Gray FCCA

Director

Lisa joined Franklins in 1998 where she began her accountancy training. Since qualifying in 2001 she has acquired a wealth of knowledge in accounting, audit, taxation and general business advice. Outside of work Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Edina Burns FCCA

Director

Edina started her training as an accountant in 1997 and has been qualified since 2003, the same year that she joined the Franklins team. Edina has worked throughout this time in practice and obtaining a detailed knowledge of accounting, audit, taxation & business advice. Outside of work Edina enjoys spending time with her family and friends and continuing to try and improve her golfing skills, which she has played for over 30 years.

James Richardson FCCA

Director

James commenced his training as an accountant in 2006 and qualified in 2011. For almost 15 years James has trained and worked as an accountant with the Franklins team. Throughout this period James has gained valuable experience in a wide range of aspects within the accountancy profession, inclusive of taxation, business advice and more recently specialising in audit. Along with this increasing attention towards audit work, James has studied to obtain his Practising Certificate and Audit Qualification. This has given him the required regulatory approval to obtain Senior Statutory Auditor status, along with the responsibility that comes with this for matters such as Companies Act statutory audits and solicitors accounts rules audits. Apart from spending time working, James enjoys quality time with his family. This particularly includes spending time in the outdoors, with bike rides, walks and visits to theme parks being regular occurrences.

Susan Hammond FCA

Accounts & Audit Senior

Susan obtained her ACA qualification in 2005 and has worked in practice throughout her career. Susan started working with Franklins in 2006 and has continued to develop a detailed knowledge of all aspects of accounting, audit and taxation. Outside of work Susan enjoys spending time with her family and friends and walking her dog.

Tom Ruszczynski FCCA

Accounts & Audit Senior

Tom began working in practice in 2007, becoming ACCA qualified in 2015. In that time Tom has acquired a broad knowledge of all aspects of accounting, audit and taxation work. Outside of work Tom spends his time with his young family.

Bethany Wildgust MAAT ACCA

Bethany began working in the accountancy sector in 2017 prior to joining Franklins in August 2021, where she has enjoyed gaining a wide range of experience. Bethany became AAT qualified in January 2021 and has recently obtained her ACCA qualification. In her spare time Bethany like to socialise with her friends and watch Formula 1 with her family and is hoping to in the future attend Formula 1 races around the world.

Georgia Parsons

Accounts & Audit Junior

Georgia has been working in the accountancy sector since 2016, during which time she has gained lots of knowledge and practical experience. She plans to continue her professional development, and improve her skills. In her free time, Georgia enjoys socialising with friends and her family, and going for walks with her dogs.

Bradley Murray

Bradley started working in the accountancy sector in February 2022 and joined Franklins in May 2023. Bradley is currently working towards achieving his Level 4 AAT qualification and looks forward to then studying to obtain the ACCA qualification. Bradley enjoys watching racing in his spare time with his family and travelling.

Claire Wood

Technical Administrator

Claire runs our administration department providing secretarial support to all clients and the Franklins team. She has been working in this field for over 12 years and has a good knowledge of all secretarial matters within the accountancy sector. Outside of work Claire enjoys socialising with her friends and family and travelling to see different places when she can.

Yvonne Clough

Facilities Manager

Your first point of contact with Franklins will very often be with our friendly and efficient receptionist Yvonne. As well as her reception duties, Yvonne is also our facilities manager, and helps to ensure the smooth running of the office. Yvonne is married with two grown-up sons. When she is not at work Yvonne enjoys walking, shopping and socialising with family and friends.
